The cheapest lift?

I need help on finding the cheapest lift for my truck. Im not looking to do any more than 2" inches or so. I was hoping maybe someone has something in mind. thanks.

 

Not sure for quality, but the cheapest lift possible is hockey pucks.

 

dont cheap out on susp parts. you go cheap, you get cheap and then broken stuff. the most "cost effective" route would be to go with some bili 5100's on all 4 corners. the fronts are adjustable from 0" lift to 2.5" lift. you can level the stance out back with an AAL

 

you get what you pay for.
more money=better ride
less money= horrible ride

 

I went with 5100's and AAL all under 400$ and good ride quality IMO.

 

oh that's just stupid. if you don't have money, you shouldn't be lifting your truck.

i have money, but just not an infinite amount. I have been searching alot and i only posted this for suggestions.

 

2x4 saw some guy at a gas station once that used 2x4's instead of blocks. But since I live in Arkansas I figured its ok??

 

Old Man Emu springs in the front will give you a quality and inexpensive lift....

 

Yeah your right. Ive been doing alot of mods lately to my truck and i should probably slow down for a little while.

Also, thats about the price range im looking for. hows the ride with your lift?

Ok Im confused. If I got the 5100 all the way around what about aal? Do I need them or not? Ive seen AAL, shackles blocks you name do I need that for the rear? If I do the what about leveling? Its almost too much

 

Yes you do.. only the front 5100's are adjustable, you need to lift the rear by the leafs springs. either AAL or Shackles dont go blocks!

 

Thanks for the quick response. Ok got the front down. Now which is suggested for the back? Since blocks or no good is aal or shackles better? which would i need to make my truck level?

I was wondering myself if I could buy the 5100s for the front and use the PC-9000s on the back instead of buying billies all the way around and just put an AAL on to lift the back. I was wondering because those PC-9000s are $99.99 on Toytec which is a lot cheaper than back 5100s. I need to replace my suspension anyways so I figure I could lift it at the same time. I just really don't want to sacrifice a good ride but also don't want to spend a grand doing it either.

 

dont waste your time or money on the pro comps. they suck nutz. the 5100's are only like less than $70 more for the rear pair. you should be able to pick up a set of 4 5100's for about $400. contact either toytec or down south motorsports and get a price quote with your TW member discount
