I knew my truck had a tilting/telescoping column before we bought it, but I was shocked about 2 days later when I realized it didn't have intermittent windshield wipers! Fortunately, my truck does FINALLY have intermittent wipers now!

Do you have to get an annual safety inspection in Oregon? I know some of the more highly-populated areas require annual emissions testing, but unsure of safety inspections...

So Eugene doesn't require emissions? I guess that's just Portland/Multnomah County?

yah, we are at just south of the Willamette Valley so our inversions aren't quite bad enough for them to impose those things on us, they sure want to, they keep testing the air each year hoping but nope they cant quite justify it.

You Oregonians also have no sales tax and your driver's licenses are valid for 8 years if I remember correctly!

Though is it true that like New Jersey you can't pump your own gas?

No sales taxes but they get us with income taxes and we have one of the highest property tax rate in the US and its because tourism does not contribute.

The pictures were taken in March 2017, but this was back in like March 2013...

There was a red 1993-1994 Chevrolet C1500 Cheyenne regular cab long bed 2WD parked behind the old barn/garage structure in the picture below. This truck was in good shape, and being the lifelong GM truck fanatic I am, I started walking back there to take some pictures. This lot is a private lot and it is illegal to park there, but foot traffic is not discouraged...

The building has since been restored to the highest standards and is the administrative office for a homebuilder/contractor (these pictures were taken yesterday, March 9). However, 4 years ago, the stairs going down to the lot where the Chevy was parked (hidden by the red Jeep) were structurally compromised:

    ThursdayMarch9th2017 062.jpg

The specific location of the red Chevy 4 years ago is blocked from view by the blue Ford Explorer. I started walking to the back of the lot, with nothing but a few quick snaps of that Chevy truck on my mind. There was a woman talking with two construction workers right by the damaged steps. She saw me coming and was like "Sir, these steps are unsafe. We can't have you walking this way." I looked at her and "Okay?" My intentions all along had been to take pictures of the Chevy and walk back out the way I came in, so I just kept walking, both hands on my then-new Nikon D5100, and didn't break eye contact with that Chevy. The woman then goes into full-on "Bitch Mode" and demands that I go back the way I came. I tried to explain that I just wanted to take pictures of the red truck and then do exactly what she wanted me to do. She didn't even let explain myself, so I left:

Joke's on her though... Remember that I said the walkway was generally open to public foot traffic, and even in 2017 there no "NO TRESPASSING" or "PRIVATE PROPERTY" signs. I just went back a day or two later and took pictures of the red Chevy Cheyenne without incident...

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.

I've done that. The fine was $125 (IIRC) and the Magistrate gets to set the amount. It was the maximum fine amount. I guess he didn't like that it wasn't inspected for almost 2 years. It was a 2013 sticker and I was pulled over in 2014, meaning it was last inspected in 2012.

It depends on what you find my antenna needed to be plugged into the radio there was no connection any other place .

Then maybe if one has tiny hands you can reach behind the radio and disconnect and reconnect what you need to do.

When did the Tacoma get an 8 speed transmission?

As others have said, nothing special, happens all the time with most everyone.
