You send Gadget a datalog. The UCON can only be tuned by URD

So once URD changes the tune, do you download a new file or send the unit back?

One of the guys who actually owns one will have to verify but I'm pretty sure you don't have to send it back each time to load a tune.

I thought I remembered reading that it either could be installed via USB drive or an SD card. Can't remember for sure though.

Just connect a USB stick with different file to the UCON. There is an extension cable included, so it's very easy.

Well I did some test runs to sample some data for them and have been emailing them back and forth. Saying everything looks good except that the cam control is odd, not going full retarded during wot. So that's where I'm at now not sure on next course of action. Yeah I think it's rich too but I guess that's normal. Maybe it will learn the afr some more..

Yeah I asked the tech what can be causing the issue and if they can tune to fix it, waiting for reply. He suggested I contact bd/magnuson to see if they changed the calibration I told him I think getting anything from them is highly unlikely which has been the case for me thus far.

So you're running the UCON on top of the Bully Dog tune?

Get a used ECU from eBay. Start from a stock N/A flash. ECU is less than $200. All you need is a paper clip to get your truck running off the new ECU. If you want the VIN programmed you'll need the dealer, a mongoose or a mini VCI with hacked Techstream.

At least that way you'll know it's not Bully Dog cramping your style.

Damn, brother hate is a strong emotion. Maybe it's the Dog you hate. Sorry man. I fully understand your plight. I've gone through a pocket full of cash myself. Getting the truck right. Mine is running pretty good now and I feel much releived to have that Dog out from under my dash.

Everyone has a limit. Up to you to decide when enough is enough.

Is anyone on here with map ECU 3 used as a tuner for a 2011 up 4.0 supercharged. I bought the TRD supercharger and map ECU 3 in 2013 never installed it because I heard the ecu's can't be tuned. I went by Powerhouse racing yesterday and the guy said he can do it. what are your thoughts
