Works for me - i ride clipped in so it would be a pain to bring everything and not get to really ride it.

Hiking is fine with me as well!

@Zac of all trades just put me down as a 1 for now, if that changes I will let you know.

Going to start getting supplies this weekend. Just the easy stuff I can start storing in the garage like water, etc. Less than a month to go. :bananadance:

Damn it!! Its crazy to think that his park doesnt have mountain biking trails all over it!

I assume they patrol pretty regularly???

I will probably bring mine for something to do during down time, aside from hiking.

    I like your priorities!

Even better! But it would get shaken up a bit...

I hope my GF feels that way when we get there. She doesnt seem too excited...

It does have trails. I guess we're not near them though. There is supposed to be a 50mile epic out there. I have never done it and not sure what part of the park its located in.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
In the backcountry, we saw a ranger once in the 7 days while we were out there. But, that doesn't mean they don't patrol daily and we missed.

If you want good mountain biking, check out a day trip to the State Park. They have some great trails out there. Beware the ocotillo.

Can't imagine how wiped out we'd be after a 50 mile ride lol.

I'm not in the shape i used to be, but I used to race and trained about 5 days a week. The leadville 100 has always been on my todo.
