Anyone looking for Co2 tanks for a DYI onboard or any other reason there is a guy on CL selling tanks for $35. When I contact him he stated $30. You can take the old tank and drive down to Airgas and swap it out for better one filled with Co2. $30 for the CL and $60~ for a replacement swap filled. This is for 20lb tanks. A bit bigger than most people want but cant argue with the price.

He says, he generally gets 2-3 a month. Probably grabs them from work and sells them off for a few bucks.

What he sells you (mine did have a handle)

That's a good deal. Alot of times it takes too long to have a tank filled, or the filler guy left for the day. If one is building a co2 setup buy the cheapest tank you can find, not the pretty one from the OBA retailer. Swapping tanks at the gas supply place takes seconds. Tanks are certified and they are all the same. They almost always have an aluminum one with a handle available.

Exactly, my whole plan was to score a used one and swap it out. I had some leads on some for free but did pan out. $30 is nothing. For price comparison a new one with Air and no swap from Airgas is 150-160 for a 10lb tank.

I'll check with some Sac. dudes to see if they can recommend someone. Or if you have a scaled plan with circles denoting the size/ height of the plant, I can come up with names.

About 7 months ago. Shitty pic through a window screen.

Kids were 2 and 5 in this pic. Older one is almost 7 and can hit the back bumper on the other end of the court now. Bocce is great because a 7 and 70 year old can play competitively.

Sounds like you know whats up, except for the regulator all the bits and pieces can be found at harbor freight for a few dollars apiece, I built my co2 setup for 50% what retailers charge

    I've never played it.

Only seen the courts where white people in Sperry Topsiders congregate and drink fermented grape juice and wear Ray Bans at night time, in Healdsburg, Graton, and Sausalito.

    Awesome, thanks!

I don't even own the house yet, so, yeah....not quite there with drawings yet. But any local refs you could provide would be a great help!

    This is my current plan:

    Acquire deed and title.
    Have a cocktail.
    Freak out a bit.
    Old house sale prep
    Moving/selling old house
    Have a cocktail.
    Freak out a bit.
Maybe go hide in the mountains for a bit.
New house paint and furniture and shit.
Lots more bourbon and walking around and staring and thinking and watching the sun and seasons.
    ...

The real stuff involves old shirtless Italian men getting drunk and screaming at each other. That's what attracted me to it in the first place.

    Shameless cross post :anonymous:

Started prepping my rock rashed fj tt's for new paint and sale. Surprised how well they cleaned up. But I got distracted by bored kids and a big honey-do list. Decided to post em up as is. If nobody wants by tomorrow afternoon I'm painting em and they're going on cl for $400. TW as is price $250 firm. Top middle wheel has been filed/sanded with 80/220/400/600 grit sandpiper. You'll have to do the rest...

    16x7.5
    4.5" bs
    +15 offset
    No tpms nor valve stems

Like I said nobody wants em quick I'll finish prep and paint myself and ask $400. But $250 right now...

Im about the same, I get up between 3-5 depending on jobsite location and start time. Try to be in bed by 8-9, which is later sometimes when my 2 year old has alternate ideas.
