For sure. There is also an air park in town for testing your drone out(Grecian Heights park), or you can come up to the airport and see a real UAV flying. They are up pretty much anytime the weather is decent. Feel free to PM me if you want details about the cave or other stuff. I've got some spooky stories about it.

    crap bolted and welded together....
    @Chickenmunga

In response to your FB question. I chose it basically for something new to test, yet still has the same KTM qualities I'm used to.

I searched most of oregon for a specific XC and only came across one, which wasn't going to be in oregon until like june/july. The husqvarna is basically a ktm still with some slight changes. Most crap on the bike if you look says KTM all over it. I also bought it because I'm good friends with the local dealers here, so I got a screaming deal on it haha.

Puyallup would be more ideal than Tacoma and Spanaway, even though those two are closer to JBLM.

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
So...looks like my alternator may be finally done for. Was setting my SWR for about 15 minutes in the driveway (done, and super easy). The fan was on low. Yoda almost didn't start. Threw the battery charger on it and in Alternator test mode it indicates a problem. I'm not surprised really, as I suspect it's the stock alternator. 20 years is probably longer than one should expect.

I WAS going to get one of Bama's kits, but from what I read in his thread, people were complaining about it taking weeks and weeks to even ship, some had to PayPal contest the order, etc...and I don't want to go through all that or wait that long.

Any OTHER options you fine gents can point me to? Or, do I just randomly pick a compatible one on Amazon or whatever they have on the shelf at Knecht's? Or even order OEM from the stealership? I value yourses opinions.

    Thanks

I run a Mean Green high output, been happy with it for years. Believe mine is a 300amp and it keeps my dual optimas charged even back when I was all halogens and no LED. Keeps up with E-fans and anything else I throw at it.

For $400 I would hope so.

    Thanks for the input.

Interesting, I didn't know that. If I had bike market money I think one of the Africa twin variants or those sweet new betas would be awesome. In reality, I need to start looking at the schedule again for classes.
Man, I think I was talking to my dad about this or something back in December. There should be a place in Salem that does fantastic rebuilds.

Went through this last week. Ended up at the dealership because I had to get her up and running again quickly. Ended up OEM for $440, not including labor, of course.

I blew up 2 OEM ones first- pay to play for parts that last under extreme conditions. 400.00 isnt really that much considering cost of even crappy AutoZone rebuilt replacements.

    What are you getting joe

Andrew is awesome. Can vouch. Make sure you bring gluten free beer for him.

Brady also makes the trip regularly but is normally with his family so I don't like to detour him
