Well took the truck in for the TSB on the needle bearing at Bellevue, sales guy wanted to talk to me about buying my truck from me....after a bit I drove home in this.

Just kidding its the rental. After they "diagnosed" it themselves they agree its the needle bearing and have the new part on the way to be installed tomorrow. No hassle about any thing I have done to the truck. We shall see if it solves the issue and how long it lasts.

Hey Fellas i need some feedback.

I have about 300 mi on my fox 2.5 ifp's now sitting on 33" toyo MT's. No more than 30 mi on the lift i started hearing a knocking sound at low speeds like something is loose and rattling. It seems to be coming from up under the motor area. I waiting a week and its still there. Yesterday i jacked up the truck and did a once through on everything i touched in the front end when i did the lift, as well as the u bolts on the leaf springs. Everything is as tight as it will get. The knocking is still there. I did the carrier bearing drop on the bracket that attaches to the frame so that wasnt it. Is it the front diff that is sitting at an angle? Thats the only thing i can think of. Anyways, you opinions would help!

I'm in Tacoma fairly often. More towards night time though.

Check with your local Napa too. The one by me loans one out (which was a discovery after I bought one)

I usually just have Napa do it. They do it for free when you buy the wire and connectors

    Shit on a black truck.
Nate at NR Fab. Ran around $220ish. A little pricey but good work.

I've recently discovered my local napa. When i was helping with that jeep lift i broke the key for the locking lug nuts... one of the guys literally drove home to loan me his personal locking lug set. Those guys fucking kick ass.

Seriously? Thats insane. When they did mine a while ago they were advertising it as one hour of labor, their old price of $100/hour... and Jon did it in 30-40 minutes. I had my own plates so with their new price it should only be $120. What the hell changed? Hope it comes with a happy ending for that price...

Jon Snow I know you ghost this thread..

They probably gave you a deal since you've bought so much. I was just there and it said $250 on their price list

And to be fair, I'd go to NR because I guarantee Nate is a more talented welder, since that is pretty much his trade.

Yep. Nate cut as much as he could off and fabbed up the plates as well. Was right about 2 hours. His shop rate is $80/hr but went out of his way to get me in as well. Seemed worth paying once for I guess. Kinda looks rough in the picture but he kept the welds pretty low profile and has a nice clean finish painted.
