I'm in California and I am going to place an order Saturday for exactly the same truck only in inferno. The dealer is giving me 500 over invoice. Invoice is $31,360 add the $980 delivery fee and you are at $32,340 plus the $500 over invoice = $32,840. I had three dealers willing to give me that price on an order. If I was willing to buy something off the lot I'm sure I could do better.

January 2017 prices went up $200 for tacomas on invoice according my dealers invoice sheet compared to prices on page 1- also confirmed with several online sources, so it seems like you are getting a great deal.

10% off MSRP IMHO is a good price. Which for CA peeps, means getting the sticker price OTD.

I just picked up a Quicksand Access Cab off-road with the premium technology package and tow. The MSRP "sticker" was $37,060 I paid $34,272 TOTAL plus tax, no license fee, dealer handling, or anything like that. I had to ordered it so I could get it with no added accessories. I got the floor mats, sill protectors, mud guards, step, etc. on-line at much better prices ($550) and I got what I wanted. If you have time to order one you can specify no accessories and save some bank.

I just put a $1000 deposit on the same truck and color, but automatic transmission and it was $36723 MSRP and Price Paid $33836 with no additional dealer fees. I am responsible for sales tax in Idaho. However, I am flying to Colorado to pick it up next week. I figure it will cost me another $500 to get it home.

If your sticker is $36,723, maybe you didn't get the premium and technology package (~$1,400) but you got some other accessories. All the access cab OR's are automatic. Congratz on the truck, its a beauty I can promise you that.

That is a great target here in Colorado too. If you can get out the door for sticker, with tax and everything you are doing really good. My sticker was $37,060 and out the door all in was $37,266.

My mistake, it is a double cab with the tow package and door sill and carpeted mats. No tech package as I am too tall for the moonroof. Sorry

No worries. I am tall as well so not too interested in the moon-roof either. Another benefit of the access cab is the roof is too short for a moon-roof so its not included in the P&T package. Neither is the siding rear window, I guess Toyota figures you can reach the slider from the front. I get tons of comments on the color, you are really going to like your new ride.

So I was thinking of going to look at this one this weekend. But the MSRP and other items don't match the master list here. Should I be concerned?
Master list says TRD SPORT DOUBLE CAB 4X4 V6 AUTO $34,705, dealer sheet says $35,700 base. The website lists the dealer discount at $37,805. Location is TX.

I would want to know if these are "dealer add ons" or are they extra features factory installed prior to shipping. Dealer add ons tend to be expensive.

Essentially they are playing the "we have two MSRP's" game. When I bought my SR5 they did this. Then the "closer sales guy" tried to make me believe that the lower MSRP was an invoice price. At any rate, you should be able to get it for around $35K or perhaps a little less.

They won't give these trucks away but you should be able to get all those extra features for the less inflated price.

Gulf states Toyota total price is about $1000 extra , when you go look at the truck if you like it, tell him to show you the invoice sheet and say you'll pay invoice . Their invoice includes hold back and TMF fee. At invoice they will be making on average about $1200 on the truck which to me is fair for $35,000 truck . The only way to get it for less it's to go outside of gulf states Toyota region, which will cost you money and travel and more of a hassle if you want to do business with your local Toyota dealer. If you have any questions message me your phone number I can call you and explain anything you need . The invoice sheet will look like the photo that I attached, excuse the white out tape out of the phone number.

The difference between the $34,705 master list and the dealer sheet $35,700 is the $995 delivery and handling. I believe the master list is always spot on. You can run the MSRP on toyota.com. I ran your's and got an MSRP of $39,919 but didn't find codes F1, G1, I2. I just bought my truck in Colorado and got 7.2% off MSRP, but I think that changes state to state. So if it was in Colorado $37,125 would be good and your price of $37,805 is $700 off of that. If you can pay the invoice price as Clay7160 states above that's probably the best way to go. Check your MSRP against what is on the invoice to verify it's the same options. I always treat anything from the dealer with suspicion. Have fun and good luck.

those codes that do not line up with the master code are unique to GST and/or SET. they make up codes for those regions since they do not have to follow Toyota USA rules.

sorry I have been busy with switching to a new job so I have been out of the loop for the last few months. haven't been able to verify the mid cycle price bump for the models yet.

I called him and we discussed the differences I found buying in GST, which turns out to be about $1000 more shown in invoice price as TMF. At least they don't do like SET and add a bunch of "protection" packages you do not want .

On the 2016's or 2017's, did anyone ever see a rebate or special (besides the college grad and military rebate)? Or maybe a holiday special on the Tacoma (black Friday or memorial day)? I'm sure the answer is no, but just curious.
