    The main reason I got into 4x4s was to find good, solitary plinking spots. The more screwed up the trail is, and the closer to a dead end you are, the more likely you'll find a good hill to use as a backstop and no one will drive by and disturb you. Also doing it during a weekday, if at all possible, minimizes traffic. Otherwise you run the risk of an upset liberal coming up from behind and screaming at you out the window even if you are 100% legal. Also in my experience, if a spot is known on CalGuns, then it is probably too crowded for me.

    What happened on the 80 yesterday? I did hear a report of a gun shot on my radio, not sure what happened.

    great now all the silly libs in cali will be for more silly gun control laws. I love the beauty of cali, but sometimes all the bs that goes on gets to me. Moving to Nevada soon I hope.

    i'm gonna try Cow Mountain. sight in a rifle. do some chronograph stuff. figure out the long ranges.

    Im currently working in Ukiah. I have never been to the range at cow mt, only dicked around in my work truck along some of the trails. But all the locals I've spoken to have told me to avoid the range during the weekend at all costs. Lots of stray rounds, muzzle flagging, all that bs.
