    I am going with the 2.85......but curious if anyone that you know of has gone with the red "suregrip" 2.825??

    Minimum of 255 liters per hour. In the past, everyone went with the red pulley because that was the only choice. Many people to this day still use it. Just weigh the pros and cons for yourself.

    It is just a hair more boost.

    Deatschwerks, Walbro, AEM, etc.

    Me specifically, I have a Deatschwerks (E85 rated) in my Bimmer, Walbro 255 in my Subi, and a Walbro E85 rated 450lph in my truck.

    1 more question on pumps....is it strongly advisable to do that URD fuel pump upgrade???? I got no problem spending the dough, but at the same time I just wanna see what everyone else has done.

    It is a solid kit, with an ethanol rated submersible hose. Comes with an external fuel filter. Has very precise and simple instructions.

    Yeah it appears to be. After reading up on it I didn't realize the stock fuel filters aren't very good. I wonder if the guys that have had fuel delivery problems and only did the pump could have benefited from this or a new fuel filter.

    So, how would one hook up a hydramat to an upgraded pump? Cut the bottom of the pump housing off (where the inner filter sits)? Attach a hose from pump suction to hydramat outlet? Wondering if it can be done easily since I'm gonna be dropping the tank here pretty soon.

    Right. 2.85 vs 2.825. Pretty much negligible in the bigger picture. One looks stock, the other screams modified.

    That is my plan. Not going to cut the bottom off though. Just large vents/openings . With standoffs to the bottom.

    If the height of the "bowl" is altered, then your fuel level float will send a skewed reading.
