Inital quote was 40shipped, a day after I started the thread. As many members know the 1stbatch was a test run at 35shipped. I did admit in PM I jumped the gun quoting a price before I could finish cutting and running numbers on the 1st batch. I found that cutting an extra inch for BLs I have to use a new roll that is 48" width to fit two pieces. The price per sq/ft on this roll is higher.

Out of courtesy, I sent an update for 60shipped. After some back n forth my best price for this custom cut was $40 +shipping... $10 more then the basic cut.

That's < 25% increase

 

You understand 40 to 60 is exactly 50% increase. Even with your 40+ship it's still greater than, not less than 25%. I know not everyone is great at math, but to find out your increase i used a simple equation. Regardless of that, I am no longer interested in your product due to the price hike, not worth it to me. Good day to you.

 

Initially, yes. I then explain the situation very clear in our PM that I should have waited to quote you. Especially since you were on the 2nd batch and I was only 1 day deep into the 1st.

If you followed along, the basic cut is shipped at 43.60. Now what's bad business is selling a custom guard cheaper then the basic cut.

With all thats said, I ultimately reasoned with you and honored 40, the Inital quote, all I ask was cover shipping. Technically 13.60/40 is a 34% hike. If your going to disclose details from a PM between you and another member, have the respect to share the full story not just what you didn't agree too
