Kansas City got hit hard. We had one 7 miles south and another 30 miles north. The sirens were going off in our town.

 

Hurricanes and tornados scare the ever-loving shit outta me. I will take tsunamis and volcanoes and earthquakes over those any day.

 

I met an old guy in Fortuna who knew they were coming when I was 13.

KC had baseball size hail, we had some golf ball size, enough to cover the ground!

They showed someone's plastic lawn furniture table on the news, it had probably 30 holes in it. You would have to be careful where you set your beer down!

 

I love me some Mt. Rainier. You can see it well from where I live.

This is right down the street from my house, so this is the view I see most of the time:

Truth. The view is still a little thrilling every time I see it.

It just looks like an airplane? They fly around my house all time time?

 

First time I saw it was from an overpass in Seattle.

Was an experience, being there was concrete and buildings everywhere and I was surrounded by cars.

Supposed to be a park maybe 20 min outside of Seattle (might be walking time) that is where lots of folks go for tripod setup and pic taking. Haven't been. Worth doing.
