I think its worth it. The heated seats are great in the north east cold. The sunroof is a nice feature on warm days. Blind spot monitor is big plus also for safety as is cross traffic alert.

Rear cross traffic alert is pretty awesome. Have experienced more rain than ever in socal, no problems with my moonroof. Also an OR with color matched bumper!

To each their own. When I saw Moonroof was an option, I chose to go all in. Sensors are nice but not something I'm use to or want to get use to so I keep them off.

Its funny, when I saw that the sunroof was there, I was definitely OUT! Just my opinion but I don't think a sunroof belongs on a truck. I had all the blindspots monitors on the 2016 Canyon I traded in and they were all turned off because they were annoying. With a camera in the rear, who needs sensors there a too? More crap to break. At the end of the day, I chose to save the coin. It has plenty of tech without the extras.

BTW I got my non tech Off Road for $32,000

    Yes. Yes. Yes.

Keep shopping around. Purchased a New 17 DCLB with tech (without jbl) for $35,600 before TT.

Yes it's worth it. I was on the fence but decided to buy it and the JBL. I didn't think I needed it but I'm really glad I bought it

Tech Package was a must for me, but passed on the JBL upgrade.

Nope. I'd rather have the money than a bunch of gadgets I don't need.

If it had cooled seats, I'd want it.

    painted rear bumper
    heated seats
dual climate all come standard on canadian spec

So I didn't pay extra for them but I can't imagine having the truck without heated seats in the cold canadian winters
and the chrome bumper looks like fucking shit to me so glad mine is painted.
haven't really used the dual climate so meh.

Backup sensor is meh since you have camera, sure its a nice extra but not necessary to me.
The blindspot would be nice (wasn't available for canadian spec) but given how many people had problems with it not working who cares.

    I'd rather have both haha.
Heated seats are a must for the climate up here.
But cooled would be great in the humid summer months.

Heated seats are awesome in colder climates. I love it every day.

The sunroof is nice to have but hasn't ever been a necessity for me.

The color matched rear bumper is nice from and aesthetic standpoint.

Totally worth it if you ask me.

There are a lot of new cars out there with overpriced useless tech packages. I found it to be a no brainer in the case of the Tacoma.

Don't have it but wish I did. My wife's RAV4 has it and it's great. Thought about trading for one with it but it's hard enough to find a manual. Don't drive my truck that much anyway so it's hard to justify too.

If you have a wife that mandates you have dual zone and heated seats then yes. If you or your wife don't value those things then no, it's not worth it.

I have it with the JBL Upgrade. I'm 6'2" and my head doesn't hit the sunroof (of course I'm not 300lbs either). BSM no longer works correctly (quit working prior to bumper replacement) and the cross traffic sonar is hit or miss since I replaced the factory plastic rear bumper with a steel tube bumper from Off Camber Fabrications. BSM and Sonar are currently turned off on my truck. The heated seats and dual climate control are great.
