    I haven't had it at wide open throttle yet but it does sound a bit quieter. I think the reason is because on my CAI, the inlet and the seal were never really seated against the fender well, just kind of up against it or even a small gap. I think this is where the major drone comes from. Now that I have a solid seal into the fender, that drone sounds like it's gone.

    I am going to research into the AFE plates a few guys on here sell. Maybe that will hel too. My lid is shit. I am thoroughly disappointed with the AFE CAI's quality and although I think it's the better CAI it there, I think they did a shit job making it
