They raced the Nissan a couple videos and they had the button pressed and in this race they were in 4 wheel drive so weight in the bed should not have mattered.

I saw a different video with the same guy in the Pro. They drag raced the Pro, Raptor, and Powerturd. The Pro came in last on that video.

The good news is the Tacoma came in 2nd in its class!

2nd out of 2, but hey, a silver medal is a silver medal!

Lets see the same race with the same trucks 15 years from now and see who shows up!

Only surprise for me was the Super Duty. The Frontier has more torque than the Tacoma. And the Dodge...well...seems par for the course.

Haha. I take it the diesel ford showed good and it surprised y'all? My boss has one of those scorpion power strokes and he says it'll run.
The Cummins isn't built to be fast, but the ford and chevy diesels will run.
But I don't drag race my truck, I also didn't buy it to be a tow vehicle, and if they were going to be racing full-size trucks, shouldn't they have used the Tundra?
And finally, I know the "I can't stand my Taco, I want a Ford" guy on this forum is impressed with the fact that everything beat the Taco, but I don't care.

The power wagon doesn't have a cummins. If it did I'd be headed to the Dodge dealer today with both sets of turd gen keys in hand.

Thats good to know they have tested it with the tow button pressed.

When launching weight transfer squats the rear and majority of the traction is in the rear. Tire traction (friction) is a function of normal force. Its the same idea that 70% of braking power comes front the front calibers from weight transfer and normal force. Also slamming the gas on a loose surface with traction control off will yield a slower result since the wheels are just freely spinning. I've messed around a few times on the beach hitting 80 mph with the peddle down and you will spin tires for days. My little experience on the beaches in Galveston and SPI roughly 2/3 throttle is ideal for best acceleration depending on tires and sand compactness.

A lot factors come into play with 0-60 times but a win is a win at the end of the day... or lost lol

A ford raptor 3.5L TT wanted to race light to light one time. I revved my engine for the hype but knowing I would lose I let him have it. The most disappointed sound came from that pour Raptor with that tiny 3.5L whinning like a import. I couldn't stop laughing the whole drive up to the next light.

If they are all treated the same and given proper maintenance then l think they would all be back except probably the Ram which is also BTW where seatbelt Mike came from.

A person buys a Dodge Ram so that they can impress the neighbours, that they are able to afford, to completely rebuild the front end every 80,000 Kilometers
I work on them every day.
