G-Tek Fab Door Sill Protectors 2nd & 3rd gen

There's really no such color as carbide texture yellow but they do come powder coated carbide texture black which is a perfect match to toyotas black plastic interior and exterior trims. Texture can be added to any powder coat although if I have my powder coater do a "one off" color on one set it would be double the regular price. So unless we can come up with 8 to 10 people who want this color it's not really worth doing. Sorry.

 

Okay no worries. Yeah I basically just wanted yellow sill plates with the texture. Just didn't know if it was possible. Might PM you next paycheck anyways to see how much it'd be to make it happen. But either way I'll definitely be getting some. Lol whether they're black or yellow. Thanks!

Yes they're just 2" shorter than the 22" 2.0 fronts.

Would it be possible NOT to attach the 3M glue strips please? I will use my epoxy film to attach them. Want to keep them without the gap between the plate and door frame from the thickness of the 3M tape and eliminate the dust that accumulates there.

 

Back in 2007 I originally started using film attachment on Tundras until I removed a set from my truck only to find wear marks through the stock paint. I had one other complaint by a customer about the same thing. The

3M vhb slightly suspends the dsp high enough to avoid damage. If youre concerned about a little dust getting under them and want them without the 3M that's fine.

To those who have the non-diamond plate protectors, how do you like the traction? I prefer the clean looks of the non-diamond, but would still like a decent bit of traction with them.

Yessir!!! Holding up perfectly and they add a very nice custom touch while performing a serious duty of keeping the scratches off my truck!!!

 

Ive had mine for probably over 3 years, powder coated black, diamond plate and the only gripe I have is when the corner some how caught my knee and it hurt like hell. They still look like new though and are great

 

ALL OUT OF 2.0 NON DIAMOND PLATE AGAIN!

There's a new batch on the way from fabrication then off to powder coat so they should be available by the middle of next week.

In the mean time I have the 2.0 diamond plate ready to go!

I also have some sets of the original version in diamond plate and non diamond plate at 10% off. They are just a little shorter than the 2.0's.
