Meh. Is what it is. freezing balls today and the 10 minutes I spent out there was enough lol!
Patches will probably get moved around and I want a more permanent CB placement, without the mic cord hanging in my face is possible. Routing power to a permanent location is also something I want to address.

 

All in time, I really need to decide what CB to order.

Pretty much have everything else besides the wires.

 

Avocados are my favorite food. I deal with this on the daily.

 

I've got a Cobra Ultra 19 III. Works so far, but needs tuned. As for smaller, handheld but better quality than mine (probably), everyone recommends the Midland 75-822. Can be permanent mounted I'm sure.

 

Are the cool kids getting the hand held ones?

If I didn't use that space, I'd do that too. It holds my ink pen and mileage booklet for work, sometimes spare smokes, sometimes other junk too.

 

Yeah, I put my sunglasses case right there.

But, I would just put those in the center console.

I like how the CB looks tucked in that spot. Just IMO

Only 'problem' I see is drilling holes to run antenna and power. Maybe slight issue mounting the unit to not slide around and rattle.

 

Still not sure what's up with all that lol
