Wyoming B.S. Thread

Normally you would use silnylon but I decided to try out silpoly. It doesn't stretch like silnylon. This will be the first time I sew anything with seams this long. The hypotenuse is 117'' long. And yep, it will be a monster of a tent. My buddy has one from seek outside. Love my 4 man for me and the pup but is tight with the gal, the wiener and extra gear.

 

what are you considering nice? +15*f with winds less than 40 mph?

 

@Blackdawg - did you come up on the Lander repeater when you came through on your way south? I heard someone come up on Sat afternoon about 2:30, but I didn't catch the call.

Those things are sweet, always though one of those would be fun! To bad its got all that rust, although if it didn't probably wouldn't be 10k. That rust is in some hard to reach places! When i first clicked on it i only saw $1000, I was half way out the door before I caught it. lol

I thought maybe he had, I've been monitoring the 145.445 machine this weekend to see if anyone ever uses it, and it has been dead air except for one call sign that came up then went away. It was about the time that I thought he might have come through based on his APRS track, but I see from Google Maps the shorter way skips coming our way...
