It looks just like the northstar. That's good to hear though I'll think about it

X2 and Northstar are sister companies.

T - 3 days until we leave for moab. It is so hard to focus on finals right now when both trucks are ready. Just have to load it on the trailer, pack food and go.

My tow rig is so much more comfortable and quiet, if something breaks I don't have to worry about driving 1000 miles home on a trail fix that could potentially break and 60+mph and endanger my life or someone else's. Its one less thing to worry about when you are so far from home. Don't really care what others think about it, I got shit for it before I bought the trailer and honestly could care less.

my plan is to do the same thing. looking at 2500s and trailers when I get back. that way I can do a project on the truck for more than a Fri-Sun and not feel rushed in the process since its currently the DD

For good sidewalls Cooper STMaxx or STT PRO are safe bets.

Yep! My ST MAXX have been bulletproof. I ended up getting the Falken Wildpeak MT01, they seem like a tough tire too.

The new MT tire? How do you like it so far? I have been eyeing it for 37s... and they are a lot less..

Yep! They are shipping currently. I'll be posting review. I got 315/70/17's. They are a heavy ass tire, but perform well from what I've heard.

I just put ST maxx on my dads super duty and love them except they are only rated to 65psi (still e rated 10 ply) but our TPMS sensors light up anything below 70psi... kinda mad about that but like the tire otherwise.

Not too much. Cooper ST maxx in 305/70/18, Method grid titanium wheels, King shocks that are being made and some 5000lb air bags for the rear. My parents used to have a camper that would slide in the bed so needed them for that.

Nothing.... yet. Im making payments to my dad for it so until I have it totally paid off he claims its fully his and I can't do anything to it haha I just use it. But it will have the EGR/emissions crap deleted, put a tuner and 5" flow pro (maybe straight piped). Probably won't lift it because I plan on getting a 36' low pro gooseneck

Gotcha. Thats exactly what id do. EGR/DPF delete with 5" straight pipe and a tuner. Maybe wicked wheel 2 compressor wheel. I love the way those 6.7's sound deleted w/ exhaust! Hopefully in about 2 years i can get a 7.3l. Little more highway friendly than the taco lol and fun to build performace/ exterior wise!
