I want to buy a few more things to finish my truck off. I'm struggling with doing the right thing which would be work on paying the truck off faster or buying more stuff for it. The wife is getting a little burnt out on my spending lately.
So far this year I'm at $700 for tires and $600 for train horns. Really all I want to do now is heated leather seats and weather tech floor mats.

yupp. I'm regretting picking up this job, just for this one day of training, lol.
Though I'm hoping I can weasel my way out of the last 2 hours. It says "new officers Q & A," and "returning officers checklist training"....So I've worked at the place before; sounds like a waste of time for me to sleep, and something I can do later. The rest of the day is certification stuff that needs to be done before I can work.

I've heard the same. I wish I could physically see them before I buy.

I have the weather tech's myself and am completely happy with them. I think it's just a matter of opinion honestly.

Ouch. I used to stay up after my last day and try for 8 ish before bed to flip my schedule. I prefer a nap...

Always the dilemma. Pay off or mod along the way. I always struggle with that and end up modding . I'm in the process of redoing the whole suspension. starting on the front. Got some new Icons and LR UCAs. on the list (and in my cart) I've got tie rods, ball joints, CVs and random bushings.

As for the Husky vs Weathertech... I've always gone Weathertech. Haven't tried the huskys but haven't felt the need to. I've always come across the issue of a piece of the mats being out of place, but after a couple days in the sun they've been spot on. I've also got some in my Amazon cart for the taco, but I'm waiting until I redo the carpet

That's what I normally do on the start of my weekend. Problem is that I still have 2 more shifts to go at the fulltime job. So a few hours of sleep after today and back here again for 8 more hours.

I plan on a small lift in the future. I really don't have a need for it other than looks though. But as it sits stock, my wife and 9 year old daughter have a hard time getting in and out of it. And I have a 110# dog that has to jump into the bed. A lift would inconvenience everyone but me damn it.
