Well can't believe it's almost 7 here. Pitch black. Need to get ready and beat the crowd at the store.

    Morning.

I dropped off here for my birthday afternoon movie and dinner with my wife, son, and DIL (in 51 days-close enough). Saw Kong Skull Island, it was very good. Had a bacon wrapped filet mignon and king crab legs. They were both delicious. Steak was cooked medium, I want pink, but not blood. Martin and I are officially broke up now I reckon. :notsure:

sounds like either universal joints or carrier bearing; does Lucy have carrier bearing?

I just now understood what's going on with your per diem. Jeez I can be slow sometimes. :(
Before they paid it lump sum and you could use it how you wanted, but now they only reimburse what you actually spend. Typical gov't move ... it'll probably cost them more to track and validate. :notsure:

    I like that!

    :fingerscrossed:

    He's a professional ... ;)

    I vote NAPA.

    What windspeeds are they forecasting?

What thread? I'm sure you told me, but sometimers ...

    Who made you Ketchup Sheriff?

    Tactical drinking

We get some of our caribou processed into old fashioned hot dogs, they are awesome, but we have A LOT OF CARIBOU DOGS ... I need a variety of ways to eat them. ;)

It can be warm (20°Fs) but the coldest places I know up here are the flightline or down by the water (river or lake); it doesn't take a lot of wind to create a serious wind chill in a wide open area or on the water. I've got sucker punched by the bitch (Mother Nature) on the flightline here a couple times early on.

    Maybe you'll catch a break?

... 'Cuz that happens for you right?

    ;)

All caught up now ... it's becoming a major effort to stay current here.

You are the king of quotes

Yea we used to get 20.00 a day no questions asked no receipts.
Now we can get reimbursed up to 51.00 a day but turn in receipts. Don't know how long till reimbursed.

Did a fukushima anniversary thread yesterday that got high jacked last night but it's all good.:tinfoilhat:

She does. The parts are sitting in my floorboard. No locals to help so she's going to a shop next week. Hmph.

I'm taking pup to the hills for more snow.

Kero, diesel, heating oil too I think. I've always run kero. But like a dollar per gal more. But I don't have to worry about the slime growing in the tank.
