    Morning all:
I was getting ahead on spring projects, looks like they will be on hold for awhile with the cold weather and the predicted storm! :(
Just ordered A1-15 fuel line to replace all the lines on the boat fuel tanks. Been reading too many times about how this ethanol crap is eating up the liners on the older lines, better safe than sorry. Also need to install a second trolling motor power plug and run the wires to a battery that I have on the front of the boat for the anchor winch. The factory harness runs to the back of the boat and I have everything else hooked up to that battery. I don't want to kill that battery with the TM because I will need it to start the motor!
Also need to change oil in the Tacoma, the Chevy truck, and the lawnmower, switch tires on the Tacoma, mount the jet; where are those guys that say they have nothing to do when they go on pension!

Hi Carl, the older I got, the more the body was protesting about what I was doing:(. So needless to say, I don't do much that requires a lot of heavy physical work...

Love that view over the bow of the boat.

Back when I was a hot shot wannabe bass fisherman I saw such a view many times looking over the bow of my Bullet and Allison bass boats.

Have shifted gears now and fish coaster waters from a center console boat catching speckled trout, red fish, and flounder.

    Carl,

I have finally decided to only run non ethanol fuel in my outboard and small engines after all of the engine problems caused by ethanol fuel. Was adding Stabil and/or Startron additive to ethanol fuel but since non ethanol is available (read more expensive) I am switching to it.

    Ty.
I live for the view like that.
It's not a bullet for sure but I go from point a to b.
I go out coastal once In a while for stripers with my friend but I prefer protected waters.

I went with a friend to look at a bullet. He didn't like it. I guess it got nervous at the chine walk at 60. Lol

I can't find a easy source here. The airport has it but a big pain to get it.
I change my fuel line in my boat every 3 years because of it.

When I first got into high performance bass boats, I was frustrated by chine walk at 60 mph and above. After learning how to drive them, I could run 60-70 driving with one hand but steering tongue required both hands at higher speed. My last Allison with Mercury 225 Pro Max would run 88 mph (verified by GPS) with 2 guys and full tournament load. Fully stripped down, light load, no trolling motor etc. it would do 95. It was configured like a bob sled with passenger seat behind driver and just dual steering cables, no hydraulic steering. Takes a good bit of skill to drive one of these.

Will email Carl a pic and see if he can post it here.

Boat had 14" jack plate, low water pickup on nose cone of lower unit, tuned exhaust, plastic reeds, light weight cowling and other go fast stuff.

 The fastest boat I ever owned will do about 38mph, most of the others were below 20! :p Hoping to get about 28 out of the jet.
Looks like my need for horsepower didn't carry over onto the water.
Fastest I think I ever went in a boat was around 60 in a buddies bass boat.

The pain is really down my leg but it originated from L2-L3 with Arthritis buildup and curvature of the spine. Heated seats are my friend all year round now days. ;)

I dumped the wallet out of the back pocket about 3 years ago. I went to this wallet and love it. Forces me to only carry a few cards and cash.

Thanks for the stove comments. I can fix most of my stove issues, many times its just parts. Have fired up most of my 100 plus stoves the last month, looking forward to the week before Easter for the stovie campout in the desert. Warm weather. Working on my most expensive stove this morning. Vaporized kerosene coming from someplace, does not appear its coming around the spindle after adding more graphite tape, hope the burner isn't cracked, this type of burner is said to do that. Letting it cool down now. I do see some great country, but many camping or backpacking trips are about just getting out.

Just sent you some pics of three of the fastest boats I had, but could not find a pic of #2, my blue and platinum (light grey) Allison with 200 hp Merc 2.5 liter. It ran 91 stripped down.

If you don't mind forward them to Tacoma Mike.

    Thanks.

About 65, roughly, in a 10' racing hydro. It was mind blowing. I got a small pic somewhere of me testing it....

Boatswain, it is about time to start whacking some varmints.

Do you feel like doing some reloading for your 22-250?

NO! :D Actually have a bunch of ammo loaded for it.
Used to shoot groundhogs with it, haven't done that in awhile, now I have it set up for coyotes at night. Loaded up some more different .223 loads for the AR, soon as I find a good load for that I will use it for coyotes which I'm not getting out for either! There aren't as many around the house like before, which is mainly why I wanted to be able to shoot them, especially at night.

Oops! Wish I had asked before sending you some bullets. Should be to you by Friday.

Anyway, they will be good for target shooting. Berger 52 gr. hollow point, flat base and shoot lights out in my 22-250. I will check my loading data for charge but use IMR 4895 and IMR 4064.

Kind of light but may do well in your AR.

We used to spotlight jack rabbits around our Nevada farm back in the late 60s. One point we had numerous buzzards hanging out. Used 22s with scopes, hard to see sometimes at night.
Nice day here in N Kalifornia, almost 70 yesterday. Still some snow in the yard.
