One of the least expensive mods I've done in a while- Washed and waxed my Taco today! Also hit 12k miles.

Haha! I don't think I'm doing anything special. I always have the ect on and use mid grade gas and running stock tires. I also drive like an old man.

Impressive. I'm on stock sport tires, run 87 gas, and never even use ECT, but I do drive a bit on the speed racer side. I probably average 85mph when I'm on the highway. That could compel me to chill out, especially after I put these monster tires on.

Lol yeah 85 = bad gas mileage. If you want 20+ you need to stay between 50 and 60 and keep it in 6th.

I've always been a non-believer of getting any power/economy gains from using higher octane fuel in vehicles that aren't specifically tuned for it - but I'll try mid grade in my next tank and not driving like Mario Andretti just because of your gauge cluster picture. When I'm on the toll road I fluctuate between 90-100 the whole time but still stay on OD. I'm paying to drive on it!

He's also at a full tank so who knows what kind of short drive resulted in the 21 miles. I'm also stuck in the mid 17's for gas mileage in Austin. I tried to find non ethanol gas but apparently that does not exist in this state since we make way more freaking oil than we do ethanol in Texas.

Yeah believe me, I've already started a wish list while I was waiting on the truck to come in. I figure I'll wait for the warranty to run out before I start adding stuff. Plus it gives a little more time for development. As a former Jeep guy, I'm very interested in what Victory 4x4 (JCR Offroad for the Jeep people) does as time progresses.

I am also averaging around 20 to 21 mpg on a tank. I drive like an old man as well. Mine is an SR5 with the little bicycle tires. So when I set it up and go bigger I figure it will kill it.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
From what everyone is saying about mpg, I'm happy getting 18-19 running 275/70/17 E-rated tires. I guess I drive about average. Mostly highway but mountainous region.

Yup, got something similar! These are 4inch tubes. Just a little different angle for the shot.
