My town had one close too. Our other one is still going strong though. Neither served gas.

There's a tread about CDs in the third gen section reminds me of buying my first cassette and tape player.

It was a combo vinyl/tape/8-track player. I pretty sure I picked it up at a thrift store. I even bought a handfull of 8-tracks to go with it. Doors on 8-Thrace FTW.

Anyway first tape I bouht was either Sargent Peppers or They might be giants. I bought them around the same time.

    Sweet! Thank you!

First off, I've never had a Choco taco. I think that'll have to go on my to-do list.
Also, y'all are bringing up all the toys I stole from my uncle (only 6 years difference) as a kid! Micro Machines were awesome. Though... I played with a whole different set of toys when I was a tot, that I don't think you guys did.

Tomorrow, I'll finally be in my new house. It's not really new, bought it from an old man with fake teeth, incontinence issues, and two yorkies. It has a lot of potential, the lot is amazing. Long story short, there's going to be an area for classic video games and vhs tapes. Pics to come eventually.

All I ever remember about these and others like it, like Mickey Mouse etc, was that they always looked more like Sloth from the Goonies

Yea. Back in like 1989 when they brought taco bell to our area, they served them. For about 6 or 7 years.

Our 7-11's always sold gas. But where i live there is 4 otger gas stations that serve the kinda stuff our 7-11 did, so when they took the pumps out, it pretty much shut itself down.
