    Pull the boot back and see how much grease is in there. Also put your hand around the inner and have Lindsay wiggle the steering wheel back and forth, if you feel a pop then they are blown. And wiggling the hub to see if they have movement.

    You might have to have weight on the hub for you to feel a pop, not much resistance with no weight on it but who knows it might work.

    I run moog inners and outers. Outers normally last a year inners seem to break every trip but I just count the threads undo the outer and thread it onto the new inner and make sure threads match. Normally lines up well enough I don't even have to have an alignment.
