Installed my OME BP51 setup with Dakars this weekend. I installed the full leaf pack on my 2011 Access Cab 4x4. I have a Leer canopy with Prinsu roof rack and awning installed. The bed is loaded with a sleeping platform, tools and supplies, and the fuel tank is 3/4 full. My guestimate of weight back there on a regular basis is roughly 300lbs. These are my eyeball with a tape measure and straight edge measurements for hub to fender. If anyone knows of an accurate way of measuring this please let me know.

    Rear driver side: 23.90"
    Rear passenger side: 24.20"

And for shits and giggles here are my front measurements with ARB bumper, front/trans/tcase skids, sliders, aux battery in engine bay. The front BP51 coilovers were left at the factory setting of 20mm preload.

    Front driver side: 22.90"
    Front passenger side: 23.10"

I took my time installing the kit so it took me most of the weekend. I took it out for a spin earlier and I can feel the suspension working much better to support the added weight of my modifications. My previous setup consisting of Bilstein 5100s and Eibach 600lb springs felt like a boat up front with all of the weight. I left the compression and rebound settings where they came from the factory (front: 6 rebound, 4 compression / rear: 3 rebound, 3 compression). I can provide more feedback when I put more miles on the setup.

Just curious cause I was pleasantly suprised at how well the Dakar leafs ride compared to any combination of stock leaves I've had in the past. I'm running Icon with them

Question for you guys that installed the full Dakar CS047R leaf pack, no axle shims, OEM bump stop. How far past the nuts did the included u bolts go? I think I got the wrong ones as they don't make it to the end of the nuts.

Yup. Torqued to 90 ft lbs. Even loosened them up to see if there was any binding. Re torqued, same thing.

I have maybe 1/2" of threads showing. These Ubolts are from Headstrong. I assume the centering pin is set in the hole on the axle? If so, you may just have to try to get longer bolts.

There should be at least 1/4" or so of threads past the bolts

Could use your help: I have a 2006 DCLB, with the original 3 leaf pack plus a Toytec AAL, plus Bilstein 5100's in all 4 corners. I'd like to replace my leafs with either the Dakars or the All Pro standard leafs. But I don't want a bad rake, and I don't want to raise the front end.

I don't have a camper top, and I only occasionally haul and am rarely off-road.

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks to all.

Anyone got a pic of their DCLB, without camper top, with Bilstein 5100's and the OME Dakars? Would like to see the stance. Thank you.

Just got my ARB bumper and OME kit with full CS047R leaf springs, 9000 struts with 886 coils and 60091 shocks installed (stock UCAs), I'm pretty happy with the appearance and the ride so far.
My taco is a 2005 Access Cab, 4x4 TRD Sport, I have a canopy with a roof rack on top, also usually cart around a decent amount of stuff in my bed.

    Driver's side rear: 24.5"
    Passenger side rear: 24.5"
    Driver's side front: 23.5"
    Passenger side front: 23.5"

Try Dakar with 3rd leaf from top removed.
You can also, from what I'm hearing other people do, remove the top overload leaf.
That should result in a 4+1 leaf pack, and a lift of a bit less than 1 inch.

You can get flat axle shims for side to side height corrections

I have to shim my passenger side about 1/2 inch to get it to sit even.
