I have to change slitter blade measurements to cut the sheets to the correct size and fix the machine because it breaks down all the time. This mill has been in my town for over 100 years and the machines are all 40+ years old. When everything is going like it supposed to I don't do much actual work. When everything doesn't, I normally have to work 8-12 sometimes 16 hours without having break. And in the summer it is about 140 degrees in here

Interesting choice of color for under your truck. Did you spray a layer of white and then a layer of red underneath so when you drag it on something the scratches will be red and white on a blue background?

Also, how'd you keep the logo separate? Masking tape?

The color is to match the kings. We came up with the idea the other day. It only has primer underneath but jay was considering doing the control arm skids red.

The logo came separately to make it easier to paint and screwed on separately.

Overall I'm very happy with the work. He did a good job and hoping this is just a preventive measure and there won't be any impact dents on it any time soon. We've been fine without it until now, knock on wood.

That's what 20 tons of coal per hour looks like burning in a 8 story boiler.

Well kind of, I generate electricity so people can have lights and warmth. It provides the steam to turn the turbine generator.

Why can't you use wind or solar? That seems kind of...inefficient.

    Hm, interesting to see.

I thought they were getting rid of coal?

For us it's oil refineries. I don't know who the sick maniac was that saw a beautiful delta filled with growth and wildlife and was like "let's stick an oil refinery here."

Probably easier to get rid of waste if you can just dump it into the water. Sucks. Nobody swims in the delta. Haven't seen any three headed fish yet I guess...

Yes we are cutting way back on coal generation and now use natural gas and diesel fuel for it. That boiler also provides steam to 8 manufacturing facilities around us.

That is an altimeter. His Hilux Surf is imported from Japan and comes with that nifty contraption.

An altimeter? Like something that says how high you are?
