Was talking to Zuk about those too! In fact Anthony and I were just talking about Detroit Locker as an option yesterday. Never been in a truck with one though... Seems like a great option though!

Would you mind posting the measurement from the inside of the bedrail to the furthest point out on the bedsides? something close is totally fine

Next time ur up in the Ventura area... How's the road characteristics? Is it that bad? How about the noise and slight "slop"?

So much talk abouts diffs and what not, hoping to install my regeared diffs this week. What gear oil should I run? I know the manual should specify but what's everyone's take for our trucks? Mine is 4x4 with e-locker rear.

There is a slight bump at times when you are stopped. And on corners at stop lights I try to coast but otherwise I love it.

The worst thing to get used to was when you are cruising down the highway and let off the gas it will unload and tend to make you shift right and when you hit the gas it makes you go left. But you get used to it.

yep, this drove me nuts, will never again own a auto locker, pick up a arb or another selectable locker and be done with it lol. I like to flog my truck on the streets too and having to coast though corners sucks. and the sound it makes when it does lock going around a corner is nuts lol. always though i broke a axle lol

My impression was u either coast the whole corner or on gas te whole time to keep it form locking or unlocking while cornering. I mean it is a toy/play truck that only will be dd just because. I'm leaning towards a Detroit for the offroad reliability and toughness. We shall see

Because it will be driven to runs, sometimes good distance away. It's not a trailer queen... Yet! :D that and I don't really trust the little 8.4 spooled. Trust me I've thought about it!

Did you double check that little vacuum hose on the actuator ? mine split / cracked when I dropped my diff. I grabbed a new hose a lot longer and it was much easier to reinstall.

That's just a vent hose and doesn't actually do anything. Functionality is all electronic
