Over the last couple weeks I cycled my leafs, ordered some 10" Kings, boxed my frame, and switched my swingout to a dual setup.

I figured as much, realistically for the starter I felt like it was just right, but didn't want to get different gauges so overkill on everything else is what happened :p

Just looks like a sweaty exhaust pipe, is it running poorly or something. If not it's likely just condensation and you have a leaky gasket between the two. No biggie

Can anyone tell me what this plug is for? Was looking around for vacuum leaks and found this. It doesn't have a very long wire but I couldn't seem to find anywhere for it to plug in. Reads battery voltage 12.4-13.8 or so when ignition is turned on. This is in the rear of the engine bay by the firewall. (Plug is near middle of the picture)20170312_204141.jpg

I'm not 100% sure if it is correct, but 2.7 engine has knock sensor there. It plugs to, the engine from the firewall side. But from the plug look it may be VSV for EVAP (also near by).

Not throwing any codes for knock sensor (although I know that doesn't necessarily mean anything). I'll try and look harder tomorrow.
Would you mind to send me a picture of the factory horn mounting locations on your 95.5? Ordered some new factory style horns and don't know where to mount them yet.

95.5 has "moped" type horn. Mounted between right headlight and radiator. I have converted it to dual horn (each horn mounted behind the front bumper), and I used original horn mounting hole to connect a ground wire (with the yellow connector shown on this picture). The horn was hanging down with one wire connected (bolt was neutral).

My new horns wired and connected (sorry for crappy pictures):

Also keep in mind that 95.5 doesn't have horn relay (Edit: I'm not 100% sure if I remember it right) and 15A fuse is shared with hazard lights (that is I'm sure about).

Alright I guess what I'm getting isn't considered factory then but I think it'll be better anyway.
I'll probably try and mount them behind the grill if possible. Already have an external relay from previous owner from a cheap air horn setup that no longer works so I'll just be wiring everything to that. Has 2 87 output posts too so that'll work great since the set is high and low

Suspension, 33s, some armor... Rust, Gray wire and 2Low, and more. T4r is stock.
What have I done to my Tacoma today you ask?... Starred at it longingly while dreaming of playing (driving) in the 6" of fresh fallen snow.
Another week maybe two before I can drive... I'm fairly sure this is the most snow we had all winter. This has been a strange year for snow.

So last week I posted in here about my FIL's Tacoma not starting. It turns over fine but won't fire up. We replaced the fuel filter thinking we had narrowed it down to that but it still won't fire up. After we pulled the fuel filter, we put an air hose to the engine side of the fuel line and it fired right up and ran fine while we had the air hose on it. The fuel pump also started pumping fuel when the engine was running. After installing a new filter, it won't run. He pressurized the fuel tank with the air hose, still nothing. Any idea what might cause this? Also noticed he had his air filter installed backwards, leaving about a 1" gap at the top that was pulling unfiltered air into the engine.
Any thoughts or ideas appreciated. It ran fine when he parked it, it sat for a week then wouldn't start. :notsure: hoping the lack of air filter filtration didn't cause some problem internally.

Still could be fuel pump. Need to do a proper fuel pressure test.

I'll look into that thanks for the reply. I guess an air hose doesn't really count lol
