Austin Area TW Chapter (all gens welcome, even T4Rs; heck, just make it a Toyota and we're good)

Good, really wasn't looking forward to driving to SA so damn early in the morn. I would have to drive past Hidden Falls, and probably would just end up going to HF and not SA. So 4/9/17 will be a fantastic day.

I dont have anything against SA, or any of the guys down there.....Just not looking to put miles on the truck if I dont HAVE to lol

 

I will admit that my birthday falls on the April C&C, and my wife has already said that it sounds like a fun time for me to have while she sleeps in. I can then come home to presents and a nap. Win/win for me!

 

Driving to Austin has been much nicer since I moved to Boerne. Avoiding 35 the entire way is so much better

 

Heck yeah man!!!! Its the 9th of next month?!?!?! Bday/C&C

 

I bet so!! The reason Ive got my Tacoma is I was in a 6 car pile up on I35

I dont take it AT ALL anymore, needless to say.

 

I liked it until I had kids.

Summer time hates parents. Now I get to spend the next 6 months arguing with my son about why he has to go to bed while it's still light outside

 

How was C&C? Sorry I didn't make it. Long story short, went to 6th for the first time in a long while. Friends sister got way to drunk, fell while walking, hit her head, went unconscious and I was at Breckenridge until 3:30am.

Hope the hospital staff treated yall well. It turns into a mad house on Fri/Saturday nights...especially during sxsw. Thank you sweet baby jesus I work day shift now days. I don't miss Saturday nights there...

Yup, a "shit show"... same reason for me. I actually moved to 78745 so I could have a cheap taxi into dt.... some years later, i wonder why I live so close!

Someone yesterday said I looked like Ming the Merciless with my shaved head/beard combo... weird to get that reference on two consecutive days!
