    Way to much...but not enough.

There is also tamales that are at the store frozen. Just boil water and toss them in. Makes for a easy good warm meal.

That sounds pretty good for the steak sandwiches... may look at that unless someone else has suggestions, easier to plan that than a soup or something as I am not sure how much everyone would want. Could get enough steaks and hoagies pretty easily.

Trying to decide how to do the cooler situation, the RTIC will be for food only, so need to figure out water, beer, and such and if I want to have two full coolers for everything.

I typically use my hard sided RTIC for food and a soft sided one for drinks in the cab. that way i open my food cooler as little as possible. I also usually stop in odessa and get a brick of dry ice for the food cooler.

Ummm it maybe a good idea to have a couple out there....
Im not sure that i am going to bag up my poo.... My bucket will not have a bottom... I will just dig a hole and bury my poo. I am going to use trash bags as a liner for the bucket so you dont get poo all over the inside! but then i guess i would be swapping out liners every time you poo.

Saw these at Bass Pro, thinking about going back to get one to take camping! Seems reasonably priced...

Bell Peppers(red orange & yellow), onions, zucchini, just no mushrooms!

Yes! a good idea to get dry ice for food! I will probably be fine with freezing water bottles and putting ice on top of it all. I will have a smaller cooler also for just water and beer. Thinking i can stock the smaller cooler with some of the extra ice from the larger cooler a couple days down the road. The dry ice should keep the ice from melting.

Going to pick up one of these for also... if you sharpen the edges you can use it as a machete also!

I did see a pretty sweet kayak there... I plan to pick one of those up also, hopefully this summer!

We can hook a tow rope up to your kayak and toss you in the river lol. Let you paddle around and then drag you out!

I will look at doing some steak kabobs or sandwiches then. Keep it pretty simple and so forth.

Unless I think of something else down the road.

EDIT: How does Steak Sandwiches with Bell peppers, Onions, and Cheese sound? Like a Philly Cheese steak kind of thing?

On that note... are we doing camp fires at night or no? Not sure about that, but would need someway to cook the steaks and then the buns and such.

Hahaha. That would be a funny video!
Sweet! Just an FYI, pups are no allowed anywhere a car can not go. So no taking them on trails and such....
    Cheese steaks sound good!
And fires are not allowed in the National park...

Maybe we should reroute for the state park so we can ride bike trails, have camp fires, and bring the puppies!

Makes no difference to me I think on where we go. Which one is going to be easier to access and get a spot at? I would assume we would not be moving all the time in the state park like we would be at the NP?

As far as camp fires, doesn't matter to me then, I can think of a different way to cook the steaks somehow possibly.

I have that skottle you can use, basically a griddle, kabobs may be better so you can cook the steak in smaller pieces. Cooking a whole steak is a bit more difficult without a grill/oven.

I am in different on where we go, State park sounds good for using camp fires, MTN bike trails and such. National park sounds great as well just for it being the national park and being a lot bigger.

A skottle should work fine for getting the steak cooked. I wish I could get a small propane camping grill soon, but not sure I will be able to get one before then or have room for it.
