Not a hard shell but enough to show you the contrast.

    Hey ccallen,

The front bumper is a PelfreyBilt Single hoop Aluminum.

This bumper does require cutting up the original bumper but PB is a quality product and I am very happy with the utility and look of it. One of the great features of the PB bumper is the cut of the factory bumper is covered by the the new bumper so the cut does not have to be perfect...this was a deciding factor for me.

The rear bumper is a Steel Brute Force Fab High Clearance with swing-out, table, Baja Designs S2's, Worthington 6lb (for the stove that goes on the table), spare tire and duel Jerry can holder. I took the Jerry Can cage off and will be mounting a large AMMO can there to hold recovery and trail gear in the near future. Nice that things can be added and removed as needed.

Note to any one that is going this route with a HC steel bumper with all the add-ons. You will need at a minimum Dakar Springs or Allpro Expo's. I went with Dakar + the extra leaf (I am adding a Shell in a week or so so should be spot on for weight and springs). It is a lot of extra weight sitting on the very end and the stock springs + add a leaf are not enough.

Adding the Dakar + extra leaf raised my rear by 3 inches over stock springs with a add a leaf after the bumper was installed, now level again...and with that comes extra wheel travel..so a minimum or Bilstein B110 5100 would be needed to take advantage of it. My current shocks ( 5160's) are the limiting factor in down travel by about 2-3 inches. New shocks = bump stop work etc..So you find yourself where I am now..

I may need to go custom leaf pack (Deaver, etc) in the next year or so (this will be driven by weight in the back), I just need to figure out if I am going to go with some 2.5x14" kings back there first..just waiting to see how Archive Garage shock relocation kit + Shackle Flip turns out and how hard it will be to install..OR just call it as it is and go ICON EXT travel (11") with modified bump stops or go ICON/KING/FOX bumpstops...

It really is a rabbit hole once you start with some of the bigger (heavy) upgrades. But thankfully it is a fun hole to go down (not so much for the pocket book..)

I put that on my truck last Holloween. I put a light in the bed to light up the zombie. I decorated the truck for Christmas too. For St Patty's I'm shooting for a bed full of Guinness. Sorry for celebrating.:)

Picked mine up on Saturday. 6MT, no tech package. Pretty basic truck, which I wanted. Traded in a '13 4Runner Trail, which was a great vehicle, but I wanted a truck...

I love the color! Reminds me of the Protoge5 I had 10 years ago....
