Hey everyone. Just joined. I've had my Tacoma for a year now. I have a 2014 Tacoma TRD Sport 4 door short bed. I haven't modified it at all other than window visors and weather tech mats. Now I'm looking into intake systems and not sure which one to get. I'll eventually get to catback exhausts. I've always known of K&N and AEM. Now I'm reading about Volant. I'm not too concerned about the price. I'd like to get everyone's opinion. Performance is what I'm really looking for. I'm sure the sound will be good on any. Thanks for reading and for any opinions, feedback and input.

Welcome. The Toyota TRD is a very nice intake if you want to spice up your engine bay. Remember you truck comes with a "cold" air intake from factory. Don't expect much if any hp gains.

Most aftermarket intakes just add noise rather than much if any increase.

Tons of reading on those set ups, going both ways. I'm not sure which way is best. Search for them in the search bar, there's lots of reading!

Yea I've read that about the intakes making more noise than any increase. The companies websites claim up to 19 hp gains lol I'm aware of that. I figure I'll start with the intake and then then get the catback exhaust to maximize gains

The best intake to get is a snorkel.
