Some of it may have had to do with poor communication and website by Toyota Canada. Heck a lot of salesmen and dealers were not even sure it was available. I think there will be quite a few around, of course I'm biased ;)

Curious if any Canadian's here specifically chose the B package over the C package and why?

Lots of OR out here in BC, once they offer it in a 6 foot box DB cab then I'll think about trading in.

I would think there aren't a lot of DCSB OR's is because people already bought the DCLB Sport. I'd imagine most people don't want to deal with trading in a new vehicle and restarting a loan.

I didn't want to get a Sport because I didn't want a long bed but wanted double cab, plus adding a rear locker to the sport. Good thing I waited.

I ordered a DCLB Sport but when I went to pick it up it got delayed even further... My DC OR was sitting on the showroom floor with a spot slight shining down on it... Such an angelic sight! haha!
Wasn't what I was initially going for but I'm so happy I've gone with this instead!

How long was your wait? I'm pretty sure I got one of the first Inferno Off Roads in Vancouver...I ordered it when Toyota said they're bringing the double cab off road back in August/September. Ended up waiting 4-5 months though

I ordered a DC Sport the last week of January. It wasn't a custom order or anything, it was on the assembly line already. It was supposed to be delivered on Feb 24th... Got a call on the 23rd saying it was delayed another week or 2, which would have been fine but I literally had just signed the transfer papers on a private sale of my daily driver expecting to go in the morning to the dealer to get my car!
Haha! Probably could have used a bit more notice from the dealer on that one. It worked out though. What I lost from the C package Sport I gained more in the OR. The shorter wheel base is a god-send driving into downtown Vancouver every day!

ugh I can't imagine working downtown. I live and work in Coquitlam, thankfully. Worst so far is going into Richmond, with the parking lots in the malls and such..

I have a C package arriving this week, 2017 TRD Sport DCSB 6MT. My understanding was that the only V6 6MT double cab in Canada was a Sport DCSB, and for 2017 that configuration automatically includes the upgrade package. I may be wrong, these packages can get confusing.

You are correct, the only Manual double cab you can get in Canada includes the "Upgrade Package" which gives the sunroof, blind spot monitor and wireless charging pad.

I am trading my damaged 2017 C package back in for a 2017 B or C package. I am on the fence because the C is another 2K on top of the 3K difference for the B package...

Haha yea I have seen lots of guys on here from BC with OR's. I'm sure there are quite a few here I just don't see them haha. Everyone's going for 6' beds. Or manual sports from what I see.

I haven't seen an OR DCSB other than mine. They are pretty rare for sure.
