A friend has a baby blue one. Not a fan of the color, not that much of a Beamer fan......But that car? I'd drive one!

 

Yeah it's a clean car for sure. I'm an e30 fan because they are light, great drift/race cars and are notorious for 200-300k miles

 

Someone was telling me that e30's handle boost really well too.

 

i have a coworker who has an E28 (535), had the motor turbo'd, and said turbo was running 24 lbs of boost. He has very recently sold that engine to another coworker with the same type of car, and is in process of building an LS to drop in it.

I'm not sure about that. But if a stock motor is lasting 300k then a reasonably boosted one is gonna last a long time still.

I believe this. The turbo was probably a t2 maybe small t3 frame though allowing that level of psi. Generally the smaller the housing, the higher the psi can be pushed but at reduced power per psi where as the same setup with a much larger turbo could run 5 psi and make the same peak power. Zachk may know this, a lot of stock turbo motor wrx and evo guys run between 20 and 30 psi. That's one of the reasons for their high, low rpm torque and crap, high rpm power.

Probably Just Dynapro Hankook ATM's in 285/75/16's I have the 265 version right now and I like them a lot why not?

 

Can attest to this. 20psi on a stock turbo is equivalent to like 6-8psi on a gt35r power wise
