weighing my options, don't feel like spending 8k over sticker for one, otherwise I would move up to a tundra...

any thoughts / dealers etc to go to? located on SoCal

I've been reading a lot of you got it from Longo...TIA

I just bought mine yesterday. Just barely 46k OTD with an MSRP of 42k.

They're running low on Pros everywhere, including Longo. If you're looking for a specific trim/color/transmission you might be SOL.

I just spent 4 weeks looking within a 1500 mile radius, contacted about 20 dealers. Dealers advertised price and what they want "out the door", once you get the details of all the junk the Gulf states & Central States distributors "port" add on garbage, then other dealer add-on junk, plus nickle and dime you to death on unnecessary charges hidden in TTL is diabolical.
If you can get out for what Toyota's web site advertises as MSRP, plus the ~$900 deliver charge, then Tax and no other rubbish you're doing well on a Cement Pro. Red and White you can get cheaper.
But I'm on the other side of the US to you, so you shouldn't have to deal with Toyota's "distributor mafia", your dealers work direct with Toyota.

    Here is an example :-
    TRD Pro $43,755
Installed options $1,824 (this is for running boards, VIP sales followup, Cargo bed light, 4 gal fuel)
    Window tint $400
    Market adjustment $3000
That +TTL = $52,487 OTD (Tax is 6.25% for me, so rest is just more addon)

Getting charges $699 for paint protection (a wax is as much as I could get from the details), Or $699 for TOYOTAGUARD Platinum (2 oilchanges) was not uncommon.

Hopefully I fly out tomorrow and drive back 800 miles just to get a cement pro at Toyota's actual advertised MSRP and absolutely nothing more was the best I could get with anything in stock / on the lot.

I spent 6 months waiting :/. SE toyota will charge you for everything. Everywhere else you have a fighting chance of getting it at true MSRP. There is one in AZ that a salesman was commenting on in the TRD pro thread on here.

I paid back in October I paid MSRP plus the cost of the all weather mats (they were the only accessory added from the factory) for a Cement auto. Absolutely love it and doesn't have a single issue...even the transmission has been solid.

If you do a search on Cars.com you will see them in your area, I usually see 10 or 12 Manuals on there every time I plug in Manual 4x4 Tacoma's.

Paid about $500 under MSRP. Trade was involved, so can't compare to an outright purchase. This was in the Dallas metro back in December.

You may want to google and search here for the potential of new nanny features for 2018. I was at waiting for 2018 until I read about that.
