    Pretty good, but not my favorite Terrapin dark beer... Love the bottle though!

    I don't really taste much of the vanilla or molasses... I think the wood aging is masking some of the sweetness that I was expecting.

    But still good.

    Was a good Sunday beer day. The Stone Pataskala is definitely a beer you need a steak knife to get through. If you like super chewy IPA with a fruit tone. There's alot of win happening there. The Ivory Stout plays tricks on they O'l psychy. It's unfiltered and looks like muddy apple juice that taste and feels like a smooth, warm body stout. Mind blowing. The growler was from the same brewey as the Ivory Stout. Just a good traditional 9% double imperial IPA. Love Sunday beer.

    It's the classic West Coast DIPA, but yes, overrated (voted the best beer in Zymurgy for a ridiculous number of times). I actually would take their Blind Pig IPA over Pliny.

    Dale's is not an IPA. It's an American Pale Ale. I like it a lot. Nice, clean, and hoppy.

    Despite the amount of beer they brew, Yuengling is not well known west of the Mississippi River. They only came to Louisiana in 2016 and aren't in Oklahoma to my knowledge. The only reason anyone around here had heard of them was because they're available all over the beaches of the Florida panhandle (Their second brewery is in Tampa).

    All the time. For hoppy beers, it's pretty important. I find IPAs that use significant amounts of crystal malts fall off even faster than a few months. Also breweries that aren't as careful about oxygen pick up will fall off quicker. So, as much as I love a fresh Two Hearted from Bell's, if it's older than 45 days, I'll pass.
