Not trying to be a dick, but they relays are drawn in the diagram. They are standard single pole, double through relays.

I see no need for the body harness. You will need to tap wires in your current dash harness for various inputs the ECU needs.

Here's the diagram. Can't get a full snapshot on the phone but this is easier on the eyes IMO.
So given my configuration I can just eliminate the grey wire since I don't have it right?

When I click on the diagram, it's too blurry to read. What does the gray wire go too?

None taken. Like I said I'm just learning wiring and reading diagrams literally couple days ago.
You said I'd need to add 2 relays (the ones you just showed me, I understand that) for the electric ADD. I was just asking where to get them. I'm not sure if all relays are the same or not.

It's pin 7 on the ecu to the detection sw diff lock. Being a prerunner I wouldn't even have this wire.

I had them laying around in my junk drawer. You can order them off line, or I bet any parts store will have them. The ones you need have 5 blades on the bottom.

No, your truck won't have this wire, or any others in the multi mode wiring. You will have to add them.

The center diff lock wire is important. It tells the ECU you want to lock into 4wd. This will lock the center diff (in the tcase) if you are in AWD.

The rear locker is called " rear diff lock" .

The center diff lock is in the transfer case and allows for 4wd operation on hard (paved) surfaces with out binding the drivetrain.

I know that. But if you look in the pic the detection switch right next to it says "transfer diff lock" from the red wire.

All my notes and wiring info are in my truck, which is at the shop getting exhaust.

The gray wire is the center diff lock switch that tells the ECU you either want it locked, or unlocked depending on the position. The other wire tells the ECU the shift has occurred.

You need to look at the actual wiring diagrams that show the plug number, (D30, D31, ect) then find a diagram that shows where each plug is. This will help you determine what plug does what.

Post 23 1- neutral position switch
    2- Lo range position switch
    3
    4- t-case motor plug
5- CDL switch (normal 4wd light switch)
    6

3&6 are indicator switches to the ecu that tell what state the tcase is in.

If at anytime a problem, or something doesn't go as the ECU expects, the ecu will flash the 4wd, and CDL light. Just like the rear diff lock light when the locker has not engaged.

Thanks. Yeah I looked it over and the locker ecu doesn't tie into that wire. The "grey wire mod" threw me off. It says shift diff lock..
I'm understanding the pin numbers, the location of where the wires need to go and what assembly they tie into.

Hopefully this pic from my laptop comes out better...maybe not.

The only think the rear diff lock needs from the 4wd system is the low range switch. If you have performed the gray wire mod, then your rear diff lock ECU needs nothing from the 4wd system

I know this is an older post so I hope you already got PTR10-89990 (Y Pipe) and PTR26-35952 (Gasket Kit), if not then you're going to have issues locating them.

I tried to order the Y Pipe a couple weeks ago from 6 different online Toyota stores, kept getting refunded and told discontinued. Last one did a nationwide search and said Toyota has no more in stock. There's a vendor on here, Gunny from Camelback Toyota who had the same unfortunate news.

Last night I tried to order the Gasket Kit from McGeorge Toyota, this morning got the refund and told none left in stock at Toyota nationwide. I've sent Gunny a message to see if he can find, expecting the same response though.

Sorry to be the barer of bad news, seeing as how I get so much cool info from your build thread thought I'd let you know.

    Did this

A productive day: Got my front blinkers to work again (both happened to be in backwards), wired in the rear switchback halos, fixed the ground on the passenger headlight so now I can finally see with 2 lights, replaced the missing mount for the corner light, and painted and added the driver headlight filler panel.

    Both halos

    Projectors and halos
