Hey so I did this and I'm pretty sure my locker doesn't come on at all now. For some reason I feel like it has something to do with the fact I don't have the instrument cluster light hooked up for the locker? Like the one that flashes during engagement, then is solid when engaged.... I'm double checking everything but shit

 

I'm gonna be drunken snow blower guy. My neighbor bought a nice new one. He lets me use it and I do both driveways easy. And picked up gas for the generator just in case. good luck everyone.

Yea that probably has a lot to do with it. You can probably just wire it up to lock anytime on your own since you added it on your own and it's not factory. How to do that I couldn't tell you though. I'd imagine it would be similar to how guys wire up the add actuator after they do a fj transfer case

That's way different. I thought you were trying to replace a dead one still in the truck. Swapping a starter is only a notch or two down from Swapping a steering rack. I still wouldn't want to do that twice the same year.

 

Swapping the starter took me all of an hour... took longer trying to trouble shoot it

 

Tell me how I messed up so bad that my diff light is on, abs light on, headlights won't turn off when I open door...And to top it all off my windows are down and now they won't roll back up....And cue the snowicane

That sucks buddy.

Pull the driver's side switch panel and put 12 volts directly to the wire to the window motor. That will get your windows up at least

 

If you did the relay mod to the 4x4 unit, try disconnecting the relay to see if your windows and lights start working. Then double check the wiring.

 

If it's anything like mine it's just a matter of opening it up and replacing the plunger and contacts.

Eh so I blew the fuse for ign 2 , and apparently it will cause those side effects if you do that. Still confused about anytime locker mod tho
