    Negative. And i quote..

Thank you so much for reaching out! We really appreciate you interest in helping Outward Bound. On our courses we like to have all participants have the same bags and gear so that they are uniform. As you know, snowflakes are very easily offended and any minute differences could be considered a challenge for them and may scar them for life. Their feelings are paramount to our success, so unfortunately we don’t take gear donations.

    :D

    Maybe not fully quoted.

    Plethora of "useless" shit
Went in to Discount tire for a rotation/balance and mount up the used spare I got from @kashtyaatsi thanks again btw!

Balance job was good, no charge for used tire mount on my spare rim, 3 tires inflated to 38psi, and 1 tire to 31 psi o_O wth? lol

Now i'm not totally complaining because they didnt charge for the mount, they always have done a good job balancing my tires, and I always re-do my pressures to my own settings when I get home anyway. But I just wonder how many people this happens to that don't know how to check(or simply don't bother) their tires right after and drive around for days, and maybe even go on a long trip with pressure off that far?

Typically they (Discount Tire) will be as high as 60 psi in 3 tires and about 42 in one.

They set the bead, let the air flow while they bs with the next guy, and throw it on. I never see them use a guage ever.

When I worked there (a long time ago) there were gauges on the machine. Probably not the most accurate however.

This actually brings up a good discussion.
What do you guys use for pressure gauges? How accurate is it and how do know?
My buddy and I compare air guages when we get new ones and they are never the same.
The one I'm using now is an el cheapo from Slime.

    Stuff. Also things.
I've always wondered how accurate my 10+ year old electronic gauge is. But without some sort of "gold standard" gauge to check it against, who knows?

Gauges are rated by accuracy and consistency.
    I think it's an A-E system.
