But now think of all the extra time you will have to play in the snow with the truck!

I've been working 6 or 7 days a week lately, I'm happy to take a day off. I'm just not happy about the reason behind closing the site tomorrow.

My boss already told me to stay home tomorrow. I almost would rather be here at work, it's not like I can do anything outside at all.

Yeah, I'm going to work from home tomorrow too. :oops:We'll, I'll shovel some snow, watch TV, lurk on TW, go sledding with the kids, snowblow the driveway, drink lots of coffee...and maybe do it again on Wednesday. :D

Thanks for the well wishes everyone!

As always, my work never closes unless it's a statewide travel ban. The expectation is that we will "use our best judgement (and vacation)" as needed. I'll probably work a half day.

Why not just work a full day from home? Then you don't have to deal with the tards on the road

Just picked my girlfriend up from the store. Good luck. The checkout line was halfway down the aisle. The parking lot was completely full. And all the assholes are out!

I work in an R&D lab. Currently we're building a new pilot plant. I'm splitting my time between building the plant itself and getting a scale connected into one of our existing plants. It's been putting up a good fight, so I need to figure out what's going on.

If I had something I could do from home, I would.

That sucks. On the bright side you'll be able to go play in the snow. Set Waze to avoid highways and have a blast ripping down secondary roads

I'm not worried about myself playing in the snow...I'm worried about the people who don't know how to drive. I have an easy non-highway commute...just a lot of merging from two lanes to one constantly (Route 18 for the locals).

I work in IT in a hospital, I'll go in at 8a and make sure things on my end are copacetic and hopefully be out by noon or so.
For normally a 30 min. drive home.
