Yes, call corporate and inquire about the extended factory warranties offered by Toyota, not third party stuff. There are several ones they offer.

I have a platinum 8yr/125k warranty thru toyota. Got it after purchase from corporate.

You can only buy from a dealer in your state.

Try and find what they're actually worth and see what you can do.

Calling corporate is a waste of time.

Best that factory offers is the one they give you free after multiple attempts and failures to fix your POS turd gen. 125k miles or 8 years, whichever comes first and fully transferrable x1. Ask me how I know :D

I bought mines at autonation and they gave me unlimited mile power train warranty as long as I keep my vehicle and not sell it. All I have to do is do oilchange and scheduled maintenance frim any mechanic shop as long as I keep records . I'm not sure how good this is. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Toyota stopped allowing out of state sales in 2014 due to complaints from dealers losing sales to the volume guys selling the same warranties, out of state, for 40% of what market price was.

    Got a link?

Theres an add in the deals and coupons area of this forum for a guy that offers great deals on ext warranty. Warranty is applicable in usa and canada so no it does not matter what state you buy it in.

    It did per Toyota.

The warranty had no exclusions. The sale of them did, though.

If that's true, that's great. I paid $835 for a 8 year, 135k mile warranty in 2013 because I was able to take advantage of an out of state volume dealer.

Thousands less than what my finance guy could offer me.

If you want third party warranty we have Fidelity "JM&A" warranties. If the dealers use them in your area.
Or just call your local Toyota dealers on the phone and ask for a price. One of them should give you a good price.
Get the longest term for the miles you drive, the longer the term the higher chance of using it.

8 year 100000 miles gives you 12.5K per year.
    7yr 100000 14k per year.
