few guys thinking about heading up there to look at scratch & dent items. was curious if its really worth the trip up there or not, seeing as i've never been.

just have holes burning in my wallet i suppose. i'm itching to get a awning so i can mount it when I mount my rtt. someone was telling me about arb's camp chairs as well.

 

I've been to the location in Renton a couple of times to sort out some twin compressor issues. But I've read/heard there is another location in Auburn that they sell used stuff out of. Do you have an address?

 

I wish I had money burning holes in my wallet... I don't even need to carry one around with me anymore damnit.

 

I don't but that's what we've been talking about. A few FJ guys want bumpers, and others looking for compressors and accessories.

Ah, I have never looked at any of that stuff.

Google "aiden james customs" and look at the ARQ awnings they sell. They're new, and I think I am going to buy one of the 270s. Cheap enough that I feel it the gamble may pay off. I believe they're the only people importing them to the states at this time. ARQ is also on Instagram with a bunch of pictures/videos.

For chairs, I have the frontrunners. Not quite as comfy as the ARB, but 1/5th the size in the cargo area.

 

Are these the same ones that one of the vendors had at the overland rally last year? I remember seeing something like it. My only concern would be one big wind gust coming out of nowhere and ripping it right off the truck, otherwise it looks great.

Good point on cargo space. I'm just so tired of the $8 specials from fred meyer it's time for some nice chairs!

 

Why didn't you keep your CVT awning? You still have the tent?

 

I don't think they've been out that long, but I can understand the fear. I'm a skeptic as well.

I plan to attach with front runner's universal mounts so that thing will be SECURE to my rack. Unless the bolts rip through the aluminum frame, it shouldn't go anywhere.

Nothing against the CVT, just that style of awning in general. The setup and takedown irritates the hell out of me.

I still have my awning. @Nimitz is borrowing it right now on his road trip.

Also still have my tent.

Heeeeyyy...I have some Glutiny and sausage for you Brady. And since you are looking for extra income on the side, how are you with your tongue, I mean a shovel? There is a lot of horse shit to be shoveled and moved out of the paddock and pasture.

 

Any reasons other than progressive versus digressive? I saw a group buy for them, but they were more than I wanted to spend just for shocks alone. I have a set of icon stage 1 but haven't put them on yet.

 

When can you meet up for measurements? Have a great (I think) idea for low profile mount. Or maybe @Nimitz if he is still working in the SoDo area.

I'd take Lexus/Toyota over a gas powered Dodge any day.

But for clarity, my v8 makes a little more hp per lb than yours.

Torque, of course you've got a bit more.

 

They are a bit more. Mainly the application as I dont go above 30-40 off-road. Possibly different ride although @AWilson013 is very skeptical. My shocks show up tomorrow. Not sure when I will get to putting them on though but I'll be sure to give my opinion on the difference.
