Hello! I have a quick question about my 17 TRD OR. This morning we finally got snow, which meant I got to engage 4x4 for the first time
Driving into work I had zero problems, as expected. When I got to work and was backing into my parking space, a constant beep sounded and the Tacoma body came up on the MID with the tailgate highlighted red. I'm thinking this might be due to the parking sensors in the bumper being covered in snow? I just want to make sure it is nothing mechanical. The truck was still in 4 high while backing in. Any insight would be appreciated, thank you!

Bilstein 5100's OME 887's Deaver AAL Level 8 MK6 16x8 -10mm offset wheels BFG KO2's in 285/75R16 Gorilla small diameter ,extended thread, black chrome lug nuts. Coming soon: BAMF eco Grille with quicksand color matched TOYOTA logo. NFAB step bars MBRP dual black exhaust
It's just the parking sensors. I have the same setup. I believe you can adjust how close you come to things before it'll go off. It'll go off when it senses snowbanks and curbs sometimes.

Thank you! I figured that's what it was, just wanted to double check. This thing is a beast in the snow! :muscleflexing:

Keep in mind that while the 4wd may make it a beast moving forward, the tires are what give it stopping ability.

Not full on winter tires? Be extra cautious.
