I've had an issue come up just recently with my keyless entry on my 06. It's very weird, i searched but i didnt find anything like what i am experiencing. 8 or 9 times out of 10, everything operates as it should. But that 1 or 2 times out of 10, my front drivers door lock only won't respond to the keyless entry. The other 3 doors operate exactly as they should, but for whatever reason, my door either won't lock with the rest of them or it won;t unlock with the rest of them. Any ideas?

Do you have the same issue working the locks from the inside switch?

If it's only the drivers door that is occasionally not responding, then I would say it's probably the drivers door latch assembly starting to fail. Could possibly be the wiring to it as well.

According to the diagrams it's the same ouputs to the latches regardless of whether it's getting the signal from the inside lock sitches, or from the FOB. since the other locks are operating, obviously it's recieving the signal from the FOB. which leads back to being either that specific latch, or the wiring feeding it. technically it could be the driver inside of the body control module, since it has a seperate output for the drivers door for only unlocking that door first. That would be the least likely to fail though. check the wiring in the harness in the door jam. years of flexing back and forth makes things break eventually and you would be surprised how little contact a wire needs to still function. If it was me, I would be checking the wiring for obvious issues, if it looked ok I would probably just throw a latch in it if they arent very expensive.
