Jake what's the best way to open rectangle-shaped holes in powdercoated steel? I need to make room in my rear bumper for two of these:

Plasma, but if you dont want to do that then a jig saw and a drill will do awesome. Drill a hole in each corner, then get a metal blade and jig it out. Ive done it on up to 1/4 thick for light mounts on pre existing stuff and it does awesome. Just get some masking tape around the area where the saw will be sitting on

Yeah I don't have any of those tools except a drill and I have problems drilling straight. Guess I'll just bring my pile by some time and heckle supervise you while you do it.

Yah. Once i get these stupid sliders done and the rear bumpers ill be doing beadlocks. Thats the only reason why i still have the old tires and wheels. So i can throw those one while i beadlock.

How long are you thinking it'll take to do all 5? I'd like to do them soon depending on cost/timeframe. I just don't have a spare set to drive around on while it's being done.

I do not think it would take more then a weekend if you got them dismounted friday, did them on the weekend and then mounted them back up our selfs. No one will re mount them for us unless we want to spend 75$ a wheel for them to just mount them :bananadead: let me know if you are thinking you are ready to order and we will order together and have them on hand for a weekend when we can play.

I'm cheap - no bolt protectors haha. If this is the site you're ordering from I'll gladly pay that price. At one time we had discussed DIYbeadlocks - that's too expensive for something that's going to get beat to hell.
