I want about a 3" lift nothing less. I'm not sure what kinds are good riding and what's the best bang for my buck.

Not the first time this has been asked.
Use the Google search engine tacomaworld.com 3" lift.
You will learn alot more reading than asking.

Agreed, it can be intimidating reading about all this if you're new to the whole Toyota 4x4 game. But I learned a lot by reading here and still have a lot to go. Probably the most budget conscious 3" lift you can get without sacrificing ride quality would be an OME setup and an AAL in the rear, or Bilstein 5100s with AAL and maybe an Eibach coil in the front. Keep reading and researching!

Find a spindle lift, check out Headstrong offroads website to get a few ideas.

My B seems toytec no longer sells any 2wd spindle stuffs.

Don't all these fools mess with you and sell you on expensive useless stuff. Just get a couple of hockey pucks, drill holes, and use them as spacers in the front. Easy and cheap

Most bang for your buck IMO: King, Fox, ADS, and Icon. Do it right the first time so you don't waste time and money going back and upgrading again in the future. BTW Headstrong Off-Road, DSM, and Wheeler's offer the best prices and best customer service in my opinion and many others
