    Hi Everyone,
Long time Toyota guy. Currently shopping for my first Tacoma, pretty excited.

Currently driving a 92 4Runner that I've done some work on, rebuilt the engine, etc. But its probably going away if I find the Taco I want.

Have also owned a 1982 Toyota 4x4 wheeler a while back. I do miss that truck but I had trashed it pretty bad.

So I'm currently shopping dealers to see who can give me the best deal on ordering (just can't find the truck) a manual TRD Offroad in Inferno.

    I'll keep everyone posted!

We will see... I would like to, but it will be hard to manage and justify 2 toys and the 4Runner keeps needing more work for some reason. Part of the reason I'm getting the Taco.

Plus, and the real reason, is this...

Project car I picked up from a buddy... running and driving '88 Supra turbo with a 5 speed. It needs a lot of work. I say running and driving, because I got it running and drove it around the block, but it sat for 10 years and has all the associated issues you would guess would come from such abuse. But the price was right, $1500. But it needs a serious cash infusion. So... the 4Runner might get sacrificed to the cause.

    Again, we will see.

In other news working with a local dealer to see if they can get me the truck I want without a bunch of runaround. First week into the communication and it isn't promising, already getting emailed now by 4 different people at the dealership. So sent a nice email this afternoon letting them know exactly what I want. They've got until Friday to commit to me or I'll be talking to some of the other dealers and see who wants to play ball.

The "what did you pay" threads have been super helpful!

You guys are all killing me!! My unicorn truck is a white 1st gen quadcab with a swapped in 5 speed, SAS, supercharged, locked and loaded. I really looked into a 1st gen but I can't see paying those prices they are fetching these days. Really impressive actually. But crazy.

Since I keep dumping pics in this thread, here's my OLD Yota, my first ride. '82, weber carb, locked front and rear... would climb anything I was brave enough to point it at.

    And I did use it....

Might get back there again some day. But life/kids/etc has put some of that on pause. I still of course get out in the woods but nothing quite that crazy.

    Anyways!

Thanks for the welcomes everyone, glad to be here!
