Locally they're called non-locals. For some of the locals, "non-local" means "anyone from outside a 15 mile radius." I once had a guy tell me "my sister used to live here, but she moved away." When I asked him where, he named the next town over. 5 miles away. But on the other side of a hill!

No surprises, started to feel like I had to finish raising some of the new troops my last 4 years or so on active duty.

 

You mean they can't call off sick ... Yep actually happened THANKFULLY not my troop but it was funny . Oh and when called back by his supervisor his Mom answered (From PA) he was out hunting lol apparently he failed to tell her the story to tell lol

Wind blew the deep snow off the roof before it started raining...that's a good thing.
Got rid of the berm. It was like wet cement. Better dealing with it now than later when it freezes up.
