Just a mild lift with nicer wheels and tires. Nothing great but I like it..
Been back for almost a year now and looking for a few trail run groups out of north phoenix. I'm in Anthem. I love to just check out places I've never been and see the things I have not seen. If there are any runs planned or groups that need another I would love to join. My Tacoma is not fully outfitted but capable.

I live close to Happy Valley Rd and 43rd Ave and have never been off roading in AZ, I am also interested. What are some of the less difficult trails, is Bulldog Canyon a pretty easy drive? I don't want to get too wild yet.

Yes Bulldog is easy. Get this book. There is a ton of info and trails that you can do. It has them listed by difficulty.

You can also check out @RPS1030's thread here https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/az-trail-ratings.420477/. There is some great info there.

Seabass posted the regular trail run planning and discussion thread.

JeepAndrew also has https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/jeepandrews-az-trail-runs-campouts.265528/ with several big trips a year.

The Trail Book is a good reference.

The only caution with the Trail Ratings thread is that the focus is on the harder/next level of challenge.

I've been using this website for trails around Nevada and so far its been great and the trail ratings have been accurate. Maybe it'll help you guys find what you're looking for in Arizona.
